Real life 'emergency lighting test'

We all know where smoke goes when there's a fire and we all know where the electrical emergency lights are fitted right? Yet we continue to fit light fittings on the ceilings (particularly in social housing). So in order to demonstrate how ineffective and useless these electrical emergency lights are in smoke, we will be carrying out a real 'burn test' test this month in association with a number of agencies and Local Authorities. Please do come back to our site soon to see the results. We are very confident that you will find the test news very interesting.

Euro Compliance become the first fire consultancy in the UK to be authorised as a Primary Authority Partner by the Secretary of State. Managing Director Paul Williams said "We are both delighted and extremely proud to be the first fire consultancy in the UK to have been accepted into the Primary Authority scheme. We are currently in the process of bringing some very exciting developments to the world of fire safety which not only makes those escaping from fire safer but is also common sense. Undoubtedly it will take some time to raise awareness and acceptance levels but acceptance by the Primary Authority as well as global evidence tell us that our proposition is one that works and we are confident that in time many fire safety professionals will look back and ask why we in the UK have quite simply fallen behind the rest of the world".
